Simple Smoothie Recipe

What you will need:

  • A blender (use a Vitamix, Nutri-Ninja, Magic Bullet, or generic blender)
  • 1 - 1.5 cups of water or almond milk
  • 0.5 - 1 cups of fruit of your choice (frozen or fresh)
  • 2-3 Ice cubes
  • A handful of spinach
  • Healthy fats (optioins include: a spoonful of peanut butter, a small handful of nuts, or avocado)
  • 1 scoop of the protein powder of your choice (optional, but highly suggested)
  • 1-2 tbsp of greek yogurt (optional)


  • Blend for 15-30 seconds
  • Eat within 30 minutes of blending
  • Eat regular meals as much as possible & use smoothies to supplement your diet
  • Play around with the ingredients to make it more palatable (make sure to include some greens, fats, & protein)
