KATC is hosting a Dynamic Taping Workshop on Friday February 17th from 5-9pm.

Cost: $75 (includes manual, certificate and refreshments)

CEUs: Accredited with CATA for 1.6 CEUs

Brief Description: First time in North America! Dynamic Taping utilises a specially designed tape that is completely different to kinesiology tapes and methods. Dynamic Tape represents a different tool for a different job. Applications allow utilisation of the strong elastic energy to absorb load, improve biomechanical efficiency and modify movement patterns. It is used to mimic the action of injured musculotendinous units to reduce the load absorption/force generation requirements.

It also exerts powerful sensorimotor and neurophysiological effects and has proven extremely effective for lymphatic taping due to its durability, versatility and comfort. Workshops are highly practical providing participants with a clear understanding of the mechanical and physiological mechanisms and instruction in numerous techniques that can be used immediately.

Suitable for PT's, AT's and other suitably qualified clinicians who wish to incorporate this taping into their management.
