What is Cranial Sacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, light-touch method of evaluating and
enhancing the craniosacral system, the environment in which the brain
and spinal cord function. An imbalance or dysfunction in the
craniosacral system can cause sensory, motor or neurological
disabilities. These problems may include chronic pain, eye difficulties,
scoliosis, motor-coordination impairments and learning disabilities, as
well as other physical and psychological problems.
Faster Results
Athletic Therapists rehabilitate injuries using the Sports Medicine Model, a method that focuses on the individual taking an active approach to rehabilitate their orthopedic injury. This results in a faster recovery, a reduced chance of further injury, and fewer visits to a healthcare professional.
At your first appointment your Athletic Therapist will perform a thorough assessment to determine the extent and cause of your injury. Your Therapist will also ask you questions about your current injury, previous injuries, health history, and any medications you are taking. This information will provide a direction for your treatment plan.

What is Visceral Manipulation?
Visceral manipulation uses gentle techniques to mobilize the tissues throughout the abdomen, pelvis and thorax, which in turn can reduce tension on the connecting musculoskeletal structures. By addressing restrictions, this also helps to improve circulation to the tissues being treated as well as to the rest of the body. Together, these benefits can alleviate chronic musculoskeletal pain, improve visceral function and promote whole body wellness.
